Trunk Answer From Any Station (TAFAS) lets you answer any call that rings a night bell. Once you answer the call, you can use any of the features that are normally available at the station.
TAFAS works in a similar manner to Call Pickup - Directed with the target of the pickup being predefined by the Night Bell programming in the System Access Points form.
You cannot use TAFAS when you have a party on Consultation Hold.
Interconnect restrictions apply to TAFAS.
If another user answers a TAFAS call, you will hear reorder tone when you attempt to answer the call.
The following types of directory numbers are not valid Night Bells:
Phantom lines
Non-prime members of Multidevice and External Twin groups
Non-users like Ring Group Pilot numbers or ACD Paths
If the resiliency of the Night Bell requires changing, it must first be deleted, the change made, then reprogrammed.
The directory number assigned as the Night Bell will not appear in the Call Rerouting form.
Ensure that TAFAS stations have access to the incoming trunks.
